EXPERTISE

A photographer since 1975, I have the experience and the expertise to accomplish all of your photographic projects. My passion for realising beautiful pictures is at your service. I am also surrounded by competent people for all your needs in graphics, printing and creation of your internet site.

Most of my works are realised with digital equipment, but I also work with film and conventional cameras if required.

Archivally speaking, all photo files are saved on external hard discs and stored in security cases.

BIOGRAPHY

As a youngster, I was astonished by National Geographic magazines in our family doctor's waiting room. My attraction for photography probably started at that moment. A couple of years later, Joe, my travelling uncle, began to make slide shows for the family after returning from his numerous journeys. In 1975 I acquired my first still camera and in 1976 I registered for a photography course at Ahuntsic Cegep. Normand Gregoire was the professor who confirmed my passion for this art.

Afterwards, I worked for different laboratories and for a photographer named Richard Cyr, a mentor and a great friend. After those experiences, I decided in 1987 to work for myself . My parents were the first to believe in my vision of this non-traditional occupation and I thank them.

I have been part of the administration council of the 'Musée d'Art Contemporain des Laurentides' since 2005 and have served as their treasurer since 2006.
